I Love To Sing

Singing is another passion of mines & I bet you guys say this lady does everything. No not everything I just dub in a little of everything. I've been singing since I was the age of 6, sung in the kids choir, & the adult choir. I remember my first song at the age of 6 "Going Up The Yonder" & I use to cry every time I sung that song. I can remember it like it was yesterday & the church I attended at that time was St. Luke Baptist Church in Texarkana, Tx. The neighborhood was called Grandview & that's where I grew up right there on Oregon St. in that curve. Most of my family members lived in the same neighborhood. Where I mostly got my singing from was from my dad side. My father side of the family all of his brothers & sisters can sing. My grandfather on my father side use to sing in a group in his early years. I have my aunties & uncles their children can sing as well. So has you can see singing runs in my family. I really enjoy it & when I do sing I love the way God sings through me. It's so refreshing !!! Just wanted to share this experience with you. Please comment & share your thoughts with me.

Wonder Woman Bracelet

HANDMADE by MICHELLE REA
Hey guys I hope your day is going good so far & I hope you had an enjoyable 3 day weekend. Do I have something cool for you guys today? The answer is yes & ready to show you what I have design for the Michelle Rea Collection. What I have for you today is a Wonder Woman Bracelet that I made out of a tissue roll. Yes you heard that right made out of a tissue roll. I will be showing the before and after picture of this bracelet. This bracelet cuffs around your wrist very easy and very comfortably. Wanted to share this with you guys and my creative ability. I hope I can inspire someone!!! Here we go with the before picture of the bracelet....
This is just a plain tissue roll after we had used all the tissue. After that all I did was cut the roll down the middle to create a open so it can cuff around your wrist. This roll is very bendable, flexible, & it want injury your wrist. What I've done with this tissue roll I use floral print fabric to cover it. The background is cover in turquoise & then I cut little strips of the floral print fabric to finish the product. Here is the after picture & the finish product of the bracelet.
All you have to do is cuff it around your wrist. Ladies let me know what you think about this creative idea. I would love to here your ideas, your thoughts, even your concerns. Let me know if I should Rock it or Trash it?

Peplum Top handmade by Michelle Rea

This is a day that the lord has made & i'm going to be glad in it. I can't complain about anything Jesus woke me up this morning, I'm alive & I'm well. Now let's get right down to what I'm going to show you today. Ladies do you  remember the shoe I recovered & I told you that I had a Peplum top I made with that shoe. Well here it is......
This is 2 goodwill tops that was $4.99 & the bottom of this blouse is the floral print top. So I just cut the bottom of the floral print top to finish off the  peplum top. I also put the floral print fabric on the sleeves to finish off the blouse. This Peplum Top is a medium, this top was a long sleeve, & was cut into a 3/4 length sleeve. Now I am going to show you  the Reprise of the black cover shoe that I did & post on 2/16/15.
To set this outfit off you can put some Jeans or a black leather skirt with it. You can also wear any solid color Dress, Jumper, Blouse, Skirt, or even Shorts with these nice pumps. I am so happy to share this experience with you & I would like for you comment give me your thoughts, concerns, and Ideas. Thanks for tuning in!!!

The ER

Hello guys hope everyone is having a great day. Finally I went to the emergency room last night because of the sore throat I've been having since last Tuesday. Now when you go to the emergency room you go in with a purpose & only for that purpose. Guys I went in around 6:30 p.m. last night & I didn't leave until 12:30 a.m. You would think that these people will harry to get you in & get you out. This was not the case here & may I add that it was a lot of people in ER last night. So I checked in, sat for about 10 min, & they call me to go to the back to get check out. By the way Baylor is the best hospital ever. When I get to the back they ask you all these questions and then want to give you an x-ray. When they already know what the sickness is but instead they want to keep you in ER for 10 hrs. Knowing that it don't take that long for them figure out what you have. So come to find out I had Upper Respiratory Infection & Hyperglycemia ( High Blood Sugar). That's why my sickness lasted for almost two weeks because I had High Blood Sugar & when you have high blood sugar it takes your body longer to heal. If there's anyone out there has Diabetes please take care of yourselves because this Illness is no joke. You can't play around with Diabetes and this type of  Illness will take you out of this world. So Please people with Diabetes, eat right, read the word of God concerning your healing, exercise, & really take your meds daily. I would love to hear from anyone who has this illness & share with me your comments, thoughts, & concerns about Diabetes.

Goodwill

This is one of my passion shopping at the goodwill. I love the thrift stores & the unique things that they have. I've been going to the goodwill since I can remember & I'm still going. I like to find different things and old things I can turn it into something up to date. My husband use to tease me all the time about going to the goodwill. He said goodwill is for people that are in need, I said the goodwill is for everybody, & I'm In need. So we both laugh at the same time my husband is shaking his head. Because he already know that nothing was going to keep me from the goodwill. Sorry Guys that's how bad I am & I'm not ashamed of it. Let me tell you the prices on some items that they have. Their regular shoes, flats, & heels are $4.99 everyday unless they have the 50% off on everything in the store. Their dresses are $5.99-$9.99, very affordable, & nice spring/summer items. Tops & Blouse $.99-2.99; Slacks & Jeans $5.99-$9.99; Skirts & Shorts $2.99. Can you believe these prices!!! When I do go it is heaven & a lot of creative things were made by me all because I shop @ The Will's. Lol!!! Well I hope everyone enjoyed my love for the thrift stores. I'm sure I have a few more ladies that love it like I do. If you have any comments, concerns, ideas or experiences please feel free to share.

Dealing With Sickness

Hey you guys I know I told you That I was going to show you the Pelpum Top that I handmade. There has been a change & will show you that at a later date. Right now I'm trying to deal with this sickness I've  been dealing with this since last Tuesday. Can somebody or anybody tell me what this cramp is. Throughout the day I'm perfectly fine until it start getting later in the day. My body starts aching, the sore throat begins, eyes red as a fire, & my ears are crackling like snack cracker pops. I'm so tired of being in this house and not being able to go to church. When I get sick it doesn't last this long & something is really going on. Is this something new, something I don't know about, or did I miss the memo. But you know what you guys while I'm down I never stop dreaming, coming up with unique ideas, & inventions. This is also a time where God want to speak to you and tell you your next phase in life. I don't always think that all sickness are bad. Sometimes I think it's to slow us down, wake us up, & make us  realize some things in life. So if there's anybody sick out there or going through the same thing I'm going through. Please comment your thoughts, concerns, & ideas. I love to here what you have to say on this issue. Also tell me what you guys think I should do @ this point & time.

Michelle Rea Design

Hello everyone I am Back from the Valentine Weekend & I hope everyone had fun with their better half/boyfriends. Well It's Monday  & back on the grind. Being creative has always been my hobby, passion, & heart. I love to handcraft stuff or turn something old into something fashionable. So today I have something Special for you. I have taken an Goodwill pair of heels that were $4.99 & I didn't like the heel on the shoes because I like high heels. So instead of wasting $4.99 I transformed the shoes into something I could wear & like. Ok! Are you guys ready for this. After I finished these shoes I love them & I even made a Peplum Top to go with the shoes. On tomorrow I'll show you how cute that is. So now let's show you the before picture of the shoe.
Just a plain ole black shoe I purchased from the goodwill thrift store. Don't judge me because I like to shop at the goodwill store. In fact I love it so much my husband was questionable about my spending habits. That's how bad I love thrift stores don't judge me. Lol!!! I love finding ole things and turn them into new & that's updated in the fashion world. I even Create my on special designs & I can do this type of stuff all day everyday if I had that kind of time. Ok! Ladies enough about me let's look at the finish product. Now I'm going to show you the after picture that was created by me Michelle Rea. Drum Roll Please!!!
WOW!!! Now this shoe is wearable & I love the floral print which is in for the Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Trend. This shoes may still have a low heel but I can still rock it with a pair of blue jeans or shorts.
Pretty much I can wear them with any color I want & still this shoe will pop off. This shoe was covered with an ole Goodwill top that was $2.99 & the turquoise fabric is from an old blouse I had in the closet that I didn't wear any more. Turn something ole into something new and fashionable to wear. I'm going to show you one last pic of the shoe & it's going to be the front which every woman wants to see.
This is the front of the shoe & it came out pretty good. Well that's the end of Michelle Rea Designs & I would love to hear from you. Tell me what you think about the shoes & the fabric. So comment  & tell me if you would wear this shoe or not wear this shoe?

Valentine Poem by Michelle Rea

I Know That Valentine's Is Not Today
Your Looking For Chocolate & Roses But It's Only Two Days Away
Getting Prepared For This Special Occasion
Who Said That He Or She Was Part Of The Equation
Is It Really About The One You Truly Love
Or Can It be About Jesus Loving Us
We Love To Shower Each Other With Gifts & Things
How About Caring, Sharing, & Giving To Someone Whose In Need
You Will Probably Be  The Only Jesus That They See
So I hope That Was Something To Put On Your Minds
Jesus Would Love For You To Be His Valentine!!!

A Beauty Tip

Tired Of Yellow Nails And Want To Know How To Keep Your Nails White. There Are 5 Things You Can Do To Keep Your Nails Clean & White. I'm Going To Try One Of These & I'll Hit You Back On The Results. Take A Look & Comment Your Thoughts About The Post!!!

How to Whiten Underneath Your Nails Naturally

Whitening underneath your nails might require a little bit of effort. The thing about nails is that they can get discolored easily, either because of excessive use of nail polish or due to being exposed to dirt almost the whole day. To keep your nails looking fresh and clean, you might want to know how to whiten the area underneath your nails naturally.

 1. Lemon Juice
A super easy homemade method to whiten the area underneath your nails is to soak your fingers in lemon juice. Squeeze two lemons in a mini bowl, put your fingertips in the bowl for approximately 10 minutes for the juice to sit into the area underneath your nails. Rinse your hands with warm water, then make sure to apply hand/nail cream.
2. Baking Soda
Baking soda is known for its countless beauty benefits. In order to whiten the area underneath your nails naturally, mix two teaspoons of baking soda with warm water and apply the paste on your fingernails while making sure it reaches underneath your nails. Leave it for around 5 minutes and then wash it off.
3. Toothpaste
Another great way is to gently rub your fingertips and underneath your nails with a soft toothbrush that has some toothpaste on it. To whiten the area underneath your nails properly, leave the toothpaste to set it for 3 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
4. White Vinegar
You can also whiten the area underneath your nails using white vinegar. One tablespoon of white vinegar along with a small cup of water, can whiten your nail tips if you just leave your nails soaked in it for 5 minutes. Don’t forget to apply hand and nail cream to keep them moisturized.
5. Soap and Water
Needless to say, cleaning underneath your nails with soap and water is one of the most common ways to whiten the area underneath your nails. In order to achieve the best results, make sure to rub gently underneath your nails with a nail brush while using soap and water.

Phenomenal Woman PJ Party

Friday Night At Antioch Christian Church We Had A Pajamas Party And It Was A Blast. I Have Never Met So Many Loving And Funny Women In My Life. It Is Wonderful To Be Around The Most Positive, Uplifting, & God Fearing Women. We Had So Much Fun & To Top It Off Was The Word Of God. The Title Of The Message Was About " What Will You Lay Your Head On". Each Woman Received A White Pillow Case & We Had To Write A Scripture On It. My Scripture Was Ps. 139:14 That Says "I Will Praise Thee; For I Am Fearfully And Wonderfully Made: Marvellous Are Thy Works: And That My Soul Knows Greatly Well". When We Lay Our Heads On That Pillow At Night It Will Reminds Us To Stand On That Word and Believe What It Says About Us. I Love My Church!!! I Have A Suggestion Why Don't You Ladies Get You A Pillow Case and Write Your Favorite Scripture On It. I Would Like To Know Your Favorite Scripture So Please Leave A Comment and Share Your Thoughts.
